The MAGNASEAL Leak Patch is a high strength, magnetic, flexible urethane patch. It can hold back at least 30 pounds of pressure. All sizes come with built in “D” rings and two 6 inch continuous loop webbing straps which can be used for application.
This MAGNASEAL™ product is best suited for liquid leaks from medium and large sized containers such as steel tank trailers, horizontal and vertical steel storage tanks, railroad tank cars, and locomotive fuel tanks.
All Leak patches are 5/8 inch thickness. The corner D Ring adds 1/4 inch to the thickness.

Carrying Case
Each MAGNASEAL Leak Patch comes with a carrying case. The carrying case has an industrial zipper and insulated sides to buffer the strength of the MAGNASEAL while it is not in use. The carrying case makes it easy to keep MAGNASEAL protected.

Chemical Resistivity Testing Data Summary
Neothane, Inc. contracted a third party quality assurance testing laboratory to perform chemical resistivity testing. The test method used was ASTM 903 which is the standard test method for resistance of materials used in testing chemical protective outfitting to the penetration by liquids. Testing was performed from June 14th thru June 22nd 2018. The following table summarizes the test results data.

How much pressure will MAGNASEAL hold back?
PSI – It will hold at least 20-30 PSI in a 2 inch hole. Head Pressure – It will hold at least 50 pounds.
What’s the chemical resistance of the MAGNASEAL Leak Patch?
Please refer to the chart above. If you require a higher chemical resistance, we offer a Teflon layer that can be added to the MAGNASEAL Leak Patch that will provide additional chemical resistance. We are happy to discuss your specific need.
Will the MAGNASEAL Leak Patch interfere with other equipment in facilities or on vehicles?
The MAGNASEAL Leak Patch comes with it’s own carrying case that is insulated. The insulation is enough to block the magnetic pull.
Will MAGNASEAL work on uneven surfaces?
The flexibility of the MAGNASEAL Leak patch allows it to contour to the shape of the vessel. The strength of the magnets will pull the patch tight to create a seal around most deformity.
What is the MAGNASEAL warranty?
MAGNASEAL has been tested prior to shipment and you will receive a fully functioning patch. If you find the patch defective when you open the box, we will replace it. Due to the nature of emergencies, we cannot exchange a patch after it has been used.
